WriteOnCon!!

Are you ready?

It’s time for WriteOnCon! The premiere online conference ANYONE can go to. All you need are a comfortable set of pajamas, your computer, and your awesomely talented self=)

There are all kinds of exciting things lined up for this year, and though it doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, there are still great things happening today! The full schedule for 2012 can be found here.

Have too much going on and don’t think you’ll be able to make it? No problem! While you won’t be able to participate in the live events as they happen, you can still see everything that went on because WriteOnCon archives all of it. Don’t believe me? Check out WriteOnCon 2011.

It’s easy as pie to sign up. All you have to do is register in the Forum and you’re all set. The forums are a happening place with plenty of places to stop and chat. You can put up your first 250 words or first 5 pages. You can find a critique partner. You can even shoot the breeze in the lounge. I hope to see you all there!

Oh, and if you’d like to, stop by, say hi, and friend me on my profile=) You’ll find plenty of other Dojo members there as well=)

Kathleen is a writer of YA Paranormal Romance and Fantasy. She lives with her husband, two kids, and a cat in Southern Indiana where she spends her days watching bad sci-fi movies and reading all the books. Her writing began with poetry when she was 12 years old. As she got older, she became interested in writing stories and books. She majored in Theatre in college and loves delving into the psyche of of others, figuring out what makes people tick. When she’s not reading a book, playing with her kids, or pulling her cat out of a tree you can find her on Twitter, Facebook, or her blog.

  2. Sadly I will be missing a lot of it this year, because I work graves, so I have to sleep at some point... but what I LOVE about WriteONCon is that I can catch up later!

  3. Is this only for YA authors? Though I've been focused on Romance, I will check it out. Thanks for the post!

  4. I've never participated much in the forums ~ but I think it's great you girls are!

And Amy, the conference is geared to kidlit authors, but there's always awesome info any writer could benefit from. Sorry I didn't see this sooner, but I hope you went and enjoyed it!
